HOV (Hoop Op Vooruitgang) werd opgericht op 10 april 1918. DJSCR (DJS De Jonge Spartaan SCR Sport Club Rotterdam) is ontstaan in 1992 uit een fusie tussen de voetbalverenigingen DJS, opgericht op 1 juni 1920, en SCR, opgericht op 28 oktober 1956 en Zwart/Wit, opgericht in het jaar 1912.
