Lunatics and Poets is a creative studio, founded in Amsterdam by Anna Jacobs and Hanna van der Meer.

Lunatics and Poets combine contemporary dance, performance, visual installation, and fashion-based dramaturgy. Their practice often explores shifting identities and social themes, articulated through a poetic, visceral, and uncompromising voice. Movement, textile, space and object form a single dramatic organism.

They also work as movement directors for fashion, the art world and the theatre landscape.

Their work has won several awards and has been presented in the UK, Spain, Switzerland, Panama, France, Italy, North Macedonia, Cyprus and The Netherlands. They have collaborated with companies and festivals such as Festival d’Avignon, RIDCC, Nite, Tanzplattform Bern, Cinedans.
